Objectives of the Program
  • Empower domestic violence victims to make informed choices about their lives so they can protect themselves and their children.
  • Educate victims of their rights and relevant services available.
  • Provide education to the communities on domestic violence awareness to promote social change.Who We Serve
  • The consortium of tribes (Jamul, Viejas, Barona, Campo, La Posta, Manzanita, and Ewiiaapaayp) and Sycuan
  • This program aids the federally recognized Indians and their descendants, living on or off the reservations.
  • Service is also provided to non-Indians who are married or have a child/children with an Indian Tribal member.
Services We Provide
  • Caseworker on call 24/7
  • Crisis intervention
  • Safety/exit/prevention plans with clients
  • Temporary, emergency shelter from abuse
  • Meals and clothing assistance
  • Assistance with legal matters, including protection orders
  • Transportation to shelter and court
  • Assistance relocating family from an abusive situation
  • Domestic violence counseling for victims and children
  • Women’s support and educational groups/workshops
  • Referrals to services not provided under the program (i.e. substance abuse, mental health, etc.)
